Information we process
Steddai processes account and authentication details, workspace content, uploaded files, content projects and generated drafts, subscription and transaction status, support communications, device and security information, and consented product analytics. Cookies and similar browser storage support authentication, security, preferences, and analytics.
When you connect YouTube, Steddai uses YouTube API Services and may access or store the channel, video, statistics, comments, replies, author identifiers, and action data described in the YouTube Data Policy. It also stores an encrypted OAuth refresh token or user-supplied API key, depending on the connection you choose. Steddai never requests or stores your YouTube password.
Why we use information
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide and secure the creator workspace, synchronize requested YouTube data, organize audience conversations, generate editable content and reply drafts, perform actions that users expressly confirm, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and satisfy legal obligations.
Service providers and sharing
Steddai shares information only as needed with service providers acting on its behalf: Google and Firebase for authentication, cloud services, analytics, and YouTube integration; OpenAI for user-requested content and analysis features; Stripe for web billing; Apple and Google for native billing; RevenueCat for entitlement synchronization; transactional-email providers for service messages; and Hetzner for application hosting. These providers receive only the information needed for their functions. Steddai does not sell personal information or YouTube API data and does not use YouTube API data for advertising.
YouTube and Google user data
Steddai’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used only for visible creator features requested by the user. See the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Retention, refresh, and deletion
Workspace information is kept while the account is active and as needed to provide requested features. YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within YouTube’s required periods: non-statistical API data within 30 calendar days, authorization and retained statistics rechecked at least every 30 days, and authorized YouTube data deleted as soon as possible and within seven calendar days after revocation or a deletion request. Limited billing, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained where required.
Your choices and rights
You may access or correct workspace information, disconnect YouTube, revoke Google authorization, request an export, or delete your account. Disconnect YouTube OAuth from Settings → Integrations or revoke access through Google’s security settings. You can permanently delete eligible account and workspace data through Account Deletion or contact hello@steddai.com.
Deleting data from Steddai does not delete data or content held by YouTube. To delete YouTube content, use YouTube or another authorized client that expressly supports that action.
Security and changes
Steddai uses encrypted transport, access controls, encrypted stored credentials, and operational safeguards designed to protect account and API data. If Steddai materially changes how Google or YouTube data is accessed or used, affected users will be notified and asked to accept the updated policy before the new use begins.
