Youtube Data Policy

How Steddai uses the YouTube Data API while keeping channel owners in control of credentials, refreshes, and publishing.

Access and retention

Steddai uses the YouTube Data API only for features the channel owner enables. We request only the access used by shipped features, never request a YouTube password, and do not use undocumented APIs or scrape YouTube. Active workspaces refresh source fields on their plan’s schedule. Disconnected or paused sources are clearly marked stale and stop refreshing.

Your control

Every publish, edit, moderation, or reply action is clearly identified as a YouTube action and remains under the creator’s control. Disconnecting or pausing preserves previously imported public comments, source versions, audience analysis, proof assets, and generated content in the creator’s workspace. Optional OAuth tokens are revoked on disconnect. Account-deletion requests follow the separate deletion process and applicable obligations.
